Give a GIFT to yourself this Christmas ๐ŸŽ


Even as an adult, I get lost in the wonder of Christmas. I love all the magic and possibility that Christmas brings with it.


If I could make my home into Santaโ€™s Grotto for the entire month of December I would. ๐ŸŽ„


I adore all the colourful lights, the smell of pine from real Christmas trees, the fact that you get to send and receive handwritten cards and donโ€™t get me started on my addiction to Christmas movies. Can you imagine my joy when I found an entire channel dedicated to them a few years ago?


There are carols at St Pauls Cathedral (usually!), an orange made entirely of chocolate and mince pies available from October, itโ€™s never too early! Bad jumpers, terrible Christmas songs and letโ€™s not forget Baileys becomes a suitable milk substitute for your coffee this month.


The festive season also brings out the best in us, there is generosity, kindness, goodwill and the opportunity to feel like a child once again.


SO, as 2020 draws to an end, what have been your learnings? 2020 vision is about clarity and sharpness of sight. What have you seen this year, what has been your clarity?


As we step, perhaps cautiously into 2021 what will you be doing differently?


Time and freedom have looked very different this year, as has how we have been able to look after our mind and body. Taking action really can change the life we lead and experiences we have.


With kindness and compassion at the heart of any sustainable personal change these are my 8 gift ideas to end 2020 and take into 2021.

mental health.

๐ŸŽ CONNECT โ€“ We need connection for our wellbeing. Be brave, join a new group, say something

kind to a stranger, reconnect with an old friend.


๐ŸŽ LEARN โ€“ Try something new this year, take a small step outside of your comfort zone. Have an

adventure, learn to swim, take a course, join a Masterclass.


๐ŸŽ SELF-CARE โ€“ Do those that appeal to you most. A positive self-care routine can help you feel

happier. You will enjoy your life more and once again there is the benefit of stronger mental

health.


๐ŸŽ RESOURCES โ€“ What do you have around you? Does it make you happy? What do you need to

outsource or skill up on in 2021? Is it time to secure your dream job? Move to your dream home?


๐ŸŽ SELF-INVESTMENT โ€“ What are you planning for your personal development in 2021? Are you

finally getting round to working with a coach? Are you taking up that new creative activity you

promised yourself?


๐ŸŽ LOVE โ€“ How are you going to offer yourself self-love in 2021? Are you going to offer yourself a

little more kindness, compassion and understanding this year? What type of language do you use

to yourself? Are you your own best friend? ๐Ÿงก
